New Citizens will be able to seamlessly request Social Security Updates.

The USCIS has announced that those applying for U.S. Naturalization using the new edition of the USCIS Form N-400 (April 1, 2024) will have the option to request an original or replacement SSN card and to authorize the USCIS to update their immigration status as a U.S. Citizen with the U.S. Social Security Office.
