Jeannette Golubovic

Jeannette Golubovic is licensed to practice law in Texas. She attained a dual Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002 for Ancient History and English Literature, with a minor in physics. She was also awarded a Certificate of Business Foundations from the UT McCombs School of Business. Ms. Golubovic earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2005 with a specialization in International Economic and International Comparative Law and as a member of the Tulsa Law Review.. In 2007 she was awarded an LL.M from the University of Houston Law Center in Energy, Environment, & Natural Resources Law.

Experience

Prior to joining Everything Immigration, Ms. Golubovic took part in the Institut Universitaire des Hautes Etudes Internationales in Geneva, Switzerland where she attended delegation sessions at the United Nations, actively interviewing dignitaries from around the world for support on the working group sessions for the ILO’s Convention 169 Concerning rights of indigenous populations and the Working Group’s Draft Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. She also trained at the World Trade Organization in Geneva, on world economics and trade development. After attending the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, Ms. Golubovic collaborated within the European Union, in Brussels, Belgium, on EU issues in Immigration & Asylum, Justice & Security, & Trade and Expansion.

In 2007, Ms. Golubovic joined an internationally recognized immigration firm in Houston, TX, working with the firm to create and manage their Austin, TX branch office and a team of attorneys and interns in the Houston, TX office. While there, Ms. Golubovic frequently represented a wide variety of foreign nationals and corporations from around the world in different industries and ranging from artists, dancers and athletes to scientists, computer programmers, and many more.

Her practice today focuses on immigration, entertainment, and corporate law. She frequently represents businesses and individuals in the following visa categories: B1/B2, H-1, H2, H3, K-1, K-3, E-1, E-2, E-3, E-5, TN, J-1, L-1, O-1, O-2, P-1, R-1. She also works extensively in U.S. Permanent Residency, Consular Processing, Derivative Filings, Adjustment of Status (family and employment-based), Naturalization, Affirmative Asylum, Humanitarian Parole, Refugee Admissions, Writ of Mandamus, Appeals, RFEs, Deportation, and I-9 compliance.
